This morning Nintendo came up with an announcement officially announcing a system to succeed the Nintendo wii console.

They as well announced that it shall be launched within the 2012, and also that playable console units will be provide at E3 this year. Chatting at an investor's convention, Nintendo CEO Satoru Iwata explained the Wii system successor "will offer you new things for home game platforms."

Iwata additionally affirmed that successor to Nintendo wii console are not going to roll-out in FY2012, meaning that it will release after April 2012. A prototype edition of Wii U has been exhibited at the E3 2011. The style of the console and game controller were not definitive versions. Nintendo-published video game titles that were confirmed are LEGO City Stories, a totally new Super Smash Bros game in addition to a brand new Pikmin title.
